Shakhtar Donates The £20.5 Million Transfer Fee For Mudryk To The Ukraine War

Shakhtar Donetsk, a Ukrainian club, will donate £20.5 million of the transfer money it got from Chelsea for Mykhailo Mudryk to support the nation’s military personnel.

The west London club introduced the 22-year-old on Sunday at Stamford Bridge after completing an £88 million transfer, beating Arsenal to the winger.

Shakhtar, who held on for a hefty charge, is now planning to donate a quarter of the price to support the Ukrainian military effort as they continue to defend themselves against the Russian invasion.
