Rio Ferdinand Names The Team That Will Win The Premier League

After the January transfer window closed on Tuesday night, Manchester United veteran Rio Ferdinand predicted the Premier League championship.

At the moment, Arsenal leads Manchester City by five points in the Premier League standings.

Leandro Trossard, Jakub Kiwior, and Jorginho were all acquired by the North London club during the January transfer window by the Gunners, whereas Maximo Perrone was the lone player acquired by Man City.

Ferdinand, though, thinks that even if Mikel Arteta’s squad loses to Pep Guardiola’s team on February 15 and April 26, they would still defeat Man City to win the Premier League championship this season.

Ferdinand said on the FIVE YouTube channel, “I believe it is a wrap. I have to be honest, I do.

“Regardless of the outcome against Man City, I still believe Arsenal has the self-assurance, talent, and composure to win the championship.”
