Real Madrid Is Negotiating With Three Parties.

Real Madrid are in a difficult position as they strive to hold onto a left-back option in Fran Garcia.

Since the Rayo Vallecano player has been performing at a high level in La Liga, it is not surprising that other teams are interested in signing him. Real Madrid retained 50% of his rights but sold him to Rayo for €2 million.

They would only have to pay €5m to get him back if there was a €10m release clause. However, Marca reports that Xabi Alonso is considering triggering that release clause in order to transfer Garcia to Bayer Leverkusen. Alonso would have had frequent contact with Garcia owing to his experience in the Real Madrid academy.

As a result, Real Madrid is in a precarious position. Even if they don’t want to bring him back to the club right now, they want to have choices in case anything happens. Garcia, a supporter of Real Madrid, is also reluctant to completely sever relations with Los Blancos.

Real Madrid cannot purchase him back and then sell him straight to Leverkusen since it would violate the new FIFA regulations and forbid him from playing for a third club.

Therefore, it looks that Leverkusen will bargain with Los Blancos to make sure they keep some kind of option or rights over Garcia.
