Neymar, A Psg Star, Has Ankle Ligament Damage.

Neymar, a Brazilian striker, “sprained his ankle” and “suffered some ligament injury,” according to Paris Saint-Germain.

The 31-year-old sustained the injury during the second half of his team’s victory against Lille over the weekend and had to be taken to the hospital on a stretcher.

Neymar will “undergo more testing at the start of next week,” PSG continued.

On March 8, the second leg of the French champions’ Champions League match against Bayern Munich will take place. The French champions are down 1-0.

At PSG this season, Neymar has tallied 18 goals and 17 assists, including two and three in the Champions League.
