Lionel Messi is advised to join the team if he leaves PSG (SEE)

Former Italy player Roberto Donadoni has said that if forward Lionel Messi departs Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) in the near future, he would like to see him sign with Napoli or Atletico Madrid.

Messi left Barcelona in the summer of 2021 and signed a two-year agreement with PSG.

His contract with the French Ligue 1 winners will end in the summer.

PSG is apparently eager to lock down Messi with a new contract, but negotiations for a new agreement have not yet come to a successful conclusion.

Donadoni said on Super Deportivo Radio, “I believe that at this time, on the same team where Maradona played, in Napoli” (via PSGTalk).

Messi is having a great game as Napoli plays with the ball while maintaining good technique and without using excessive pace.

Added him:

“Let Leo [Messi] come to Atletico de Madrid if he has any reservations about re-signing with PSG. We advise Angelito (Correa) to give the man 10 and promise to locate him a little flat in the heart of Madrid.
