Leeds, A Premier League Team, Names A New Manager

In order to succeed Jesse Marsch as manager, Leeds United and Javi Gracia have reached an agreement.

Marsch was fired on February 6th, but Leeds has had trouble finding a suitable successor.

The 52-year-old Spaniard Gracia led Watford to the 2019 FA Cup final before managing Valencia and Qatari team Al Sadd.

Leeds, which is now 19th in the Premier League, will play Southampton on Saturday.

According to the club, Gracia will take command of the team against the Saints “subject to gaining the required work permits” and has been placed on a “flexible contract.”
