Folarin Balogun Of Arsenal Begged To Choose The United States Over Nigeria.

Christian Pulisic, a winger for Chelsea, said he would really like Folarin Balogun, who is on loan from Arsenal, to play for the American national team.

Balogun can play for the United States, Nigeria, and England.

The attacker is entitled to play for the USA since he was born in New York, but he is temporarily cap-tied to England because that is where he spent his formative years. He is also qualified to play for Nigeria because of his parents.

The future of Balogun on the global stage has been the subject of intense rumor in recent weeks.

As a result of Balogun’s withdrawal from the England U21 team on Tuesday before their friendly due to an unknown ailment, speculation that he may be contemplating transferring to the USA or Nigeria instead of England gained further traction.

Goal cited Pulisic as stating, “I haven’t actually talked to him [Balogun] directly.”
