Borussia Dortmund “Will Offer Jude Bellingham, Valued At £130 Million

One of the finest young players in the world of football, the 19-year-old English phenom is being pursued by European powerhouses like Liverpool, Manchester City, and Real Madrid.

In a last-ditch effort to retain Bellingham, the German team is reportedly planning an offer that might make Bellingham the highest-paid player in the team’s history.

According to reports, discussions with Bellingham’s advisor Mark Bennett are set to begin no later than March.

Sebastian Kehl, the sports director, and club CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke are ‘trying’ to persuade him to stay at Dortmund for an additional year.

Watzke and Kehl are hoping Bellingham’s existing contract, which runs out in the summer of 2025, gets extended until 2026.

This might result in him earning over £13.25 million over the course of the contract, surpassing the roughly £10.6 million in earnings earned by Black and Yellows captain Marco Reus, 33, who has made 368 appearances in all competitions.

The 22-cap international’s salary at Signal Iduna Park is much below what it would be in England or Spain.

However, Dortmund would certainly be comforted by the possible £130 million fee they would earn if Bellingham does decide to leave the team, whether this summer or later.
