Argentina’s Coach Decides Between Messi And Ronaldo Who Is Superior.

Prior to the late football legend Diego Maradona, Argentina coach Lionel Scaloni ranked Paris Saint-Germain forward Lionel Messi as the best player in football history.

While Maradona led Argentina to victory in the 1986 World Cup, Messi just led Argentina to victory in the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

Argentina had a certain winner in the Messi vs. Maradona discussion for years, but after the former Barcelona captain’s exploits, the situation seems to have changed.

When asked to choose between Messi and Maradona on Cope’s “El Partidazo” show, Scaloni responded in favor of Messi.

The manager of Argentina answered:

Messi is the greatest player ever, in my opinion. Maradona excelled. However, I have a unique relationship with Leo.

Under Scaloni, Messi has appeared in 44 games and has scored 32 goals.
