After Napoli’s Victory Against Sassuolo, Osimhen Sets A New Record.

After scoring in the Partenopei’s 2-0 victory against Sassuolo at the MAPEI Stadium, Victor Osimhen created history by becoming the first Napoli player to score in seven straight Serie A games.

In 33 minutes, the Nigerian international scored his team’s second goal of the contest.

Osimhen has already contributed three assists and 18 goals to Luciano Spalletti’s team in 19 league games this year.

The forward’s amazing goal also marked the 100th of his career.

Osimhen has scored 15 goals in 22 appearances for the Super Eagles, and 85 goals overall for his different European clubs.

After former AC Milan great George Weah, he is now the second-best African top scorer in Serie A.

In 70 Serie A appearances for Napoli, the 23-year-old has scored 42 goals.

At AC Milan, Weah scored 46 goals in 114 games.
