Two French Athletes Experience Racial Abuse After The World Cup Final.

Kingsley Coman and Aurelien Tchouameni of France have experienced racial internet taunts as a result of their missed penalties in the World Cup final.

Argentina defeated France 4-2 in a penalty shootout on Sunday, preventing France from successfully defending their world championship.

The 26-year-old winger has subsequently received a note of support from Coman’s team, Bayern Munich.

Emiliano Martinez of Argentina made a save on his penalty, while Tchouameni’s attempt missed the target.

In a statement posted online, the German team wrote, “FC Bayern firmly condemn the racist remarks made against Kingsley Coman.”

King, the FC Bayern family is with you. Racism has no place in either our culture or in sports.

It comes after the racial taunts directed at Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho, and Bukayo Saka after England’s loss by Italy in the 2018 Euro 2020 final.

In the 3-2 shootout defeat, all three players missed penalties, and as a result, they were criticized on social media.
