To land an Osasuna striker, Sevilla will face off against a Premier League team.

Osasuna, one of the best teams in La Liga thus far this season, is currently ranked seventh in the standings and is only one point behind fourth place.

Chimy Avila, who has managed to stay in shape this season and made a significant contribution to their excellent form, is a big factor in why that is. In only 13 games, the diminutive Argentine attacker has six goals and one assist.

Sevilla is seated eleven spots lower. Sporting Director Monchi is planning a robust winter transfer window to address the numerous issues with Jorge Sampaoli’s team as Los Nervionenses struggle. One of the possibilities they are considering is Avila.

But Leeds United of the Premier League, who are short on firepower, are reportedly also considering Avila, according to Estadio Deportivo. They have only scored 19 goals in 13 games themselves. They are ready to spend €22 million on Avila, who has a €30 million release clause.
