Poland will need a scooter to stop Kylian Mbappé of France.

Before their World Cup round of 16 match, Poland’s Arkadiusz Milik (28), said that France’s Kylian Mbappé (23) needed to be stopped with a scooter.

Numerous members of France’s team are familiar faces to Milik. He participated in last season’s Champions League qualification for Marseille with Mattéo Guendouzi, Steve Mandanda, and William Saliba. He is now on loan at Juventus, who played Mbappé’s Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League group stage and fell to the Serie A team.

He will now take against a team that includes Kylian Mbappé on Sunday when Poland plays France in the World Cup round of 16. The winner advances to the quarterfinals. In a pre-game news conference on Saturday, Milik was questioned about how to stop Mbappé, and the Juventus striker quipped that his teammates would need scooters to keep up with him.

“How do you counter his attacks? For us to be able to capture him, we need to move quickly and have a scooter. He is one of the top players in the world, making it incredibly challenging to defend against him individually. He remarked in a conference that L’Équipe translated, “We will have to respond as a community and come up with communal answers.
