Morocco shows interest in the Barcelona superkid known as “Mini Messi”

Lamine Yamal, dubbed “Mini Messi” by Barcelona, has drawn attention from Morocco.

The 15-year-old was selected by Spain U19 and is now working out with Barça’s senior team.

Lamal, however, is also eligible for Morocco because of his father, who has shown interest, and federation scout Rabie Takassa.

To Carousel Deportivo, he stated: “Everyone speaks about him and, in quotations, wonders whether we’re going to grab it from Spain.

“He may choose from one of three teams since his mother is from Equatorial Guinea, his father is Moroccan, and he was born in Spain. He will ultimately play where his heart leads him and where he feels most comfortable.

“His approach, sense of the game, and eye for the goal. In the lower divisions, he is among the finest wings I have ever seen. Barcelona’s academy is a complete diamond. Because I admire players of this kind, differential players, he is a player I like and will always support, wherever he plays.”

The 15-year-old “Mini Messi” caught Barcelona’s eye after participating in many training sessions with the first squad in September under manager Xavi Hernandez. known for his technical skill and smooth dribbling style.
