Kroos Turns Around On Ronaldo: Messi Deserves Goat Title

Toni Kroos, a midfielder for Real Madrid, has changed his mind on Argentina being the GOAT after the South Americans won the World Cup on Sunday.

Former Spain teammate of Cristiano Ronaldo, Kroos has previously argued that the Portugal captain was the greatest ever.

The German has now altered his mind, however, after Albiceleste’s victory in Qatar under Lionel Messi’s captaincy.

Kroos has previously said, according to the Mirror, “From my playing days, it’s Cristiano Ronaldo” (best player of all time). I’m prejudiced, of course, since he was a crucial part of our team’s success in winning many trophies.

Prior to Ronaldo’s transfer to Juventus, the pair played together for four years at the Santiago Bernabeu.

But Kroos said the following in a recent interview with MagentaTV:

Messi deserves it, I say. I’ve never seen a football player play as often as this one in terms of individual performances in a championship.

You must consider the fact that he has never represented teams that I regard to be extremely amusing, which demonstrates my sincerity.
