How Two Arsenal Players Told Me I Should Resign – Balogun

Folarin Balogun, an Arsenal attacker, has discussed how previous teammates Nicolas Pepe and Alexandre Lacazette encouraged him to go a loan in France rather than stay at the Emirates.

Currently on loan at Reims, Balogun is having a great time.

The 21-year-old has made 15 appearances so far, with eight goals and two assists.

Balogun has recently explained how the Pepe and Lacazette of Arsenal inspired him to quit the Emirate.

Before making the decision, I chatted with Laca [Alexandre Lacazette] and Nico [Nicolas Pepe], ” Balogun said to The Athletic.

“Laca informed me that I should start playing because he believes that this league is a good fit for me. When we were on the pre-season tour in America after Laca’s departure, I chatted with Nico.

He saw that I was a little unhappy at the moment since I wasn’t playing. He just advised being upbeat and working hard, and then he advised perhaps considering a loan to the French league.
