Graham Potter Discusses the Facts Behind Chelsea’s 2–0 Loss to Man City.

Graham Potter, the manager of Chelsea, has explained why his team lost to Manchester City in an EFL Cup game on Wednesday.

The Englishman pointed out that there were a lot of positives to take home despite their loss and early elimination.

The former Brighton manager claims:

There was a lot to enjoy about the game, the player said, noting that his team had several opportunities to score but was unsuccessful.

“We successfully attacked and generated some significant opportunities. Although we weren’t flawless, we played well overall, he told Sky Sports.

“It was a good performance; it was a step in the right direction for our style of play. Despite my disappointment at the outcome, I was pleased with the performance.

The Blues will now take against competitive Newcastle United at St. James’ Park on Saturday before the World Cup break.
