Regarding prospective collaborations with the seven-time Ballon d’Or winner, he added: “For a striker, it would be a dream to play with Lionel Messi for sure. I don’t know what’s going on right now.”

Poland’s Lewandowski is gearing up for the World Cup and believes that Argentina will be the side to defeat in Qatar.

He said, “I believe Argentina, especially with Messi, are one of the favorites to win the World Cup.

“They play well and you can see they are a pretty excellent squad since they haven’t lost in 30 games.”

In his first 19 appearances for Barcelona since joining from Bayern Munich in the summer, Lewandowski has scored 18 goals.

While warming up for Qatar, Messi played 75 minutes in Sunday’s 5-0 victory against Auxerre. Messi has scored 12 goals in 19 outings for PSG this season.
