Barcelona Will Define The Parameters Of The Agreement

After Youssoufa Moukoko rejected Barcelona’s most recent contract offer, the young star is ready to begin talks.

The 18-year-old German international, whose contract with Borussia Dortmund expires in June 2023, has been negotiating a new agreement with the club for some months. Sport claims that he has rejected BILD’s most recent offer, therefore he will probably be free to negotiate with any party he chooses in January.

Moukoko, who has been predicted to be a star since he was 15 years old, is being pursued by a number of teams, including Barcelona. They will not, however, give in to competing bids for Moukoko. Barcelona will talk with Moukoko, but will make clear that he must accept the conditions offered if he wants to play for Barcelona. Over the last two years, Barcelona has established a pay structure that every player’s contract should comply to.

Moukoko may not believe he has a good chance of gaining regular football over the next two years due to the intense competition up front for Barcelona. Raphinha and Ousmane Dembele have been getting more playing time lately, while Ansu Fati and Ferran Torres have been warming the bench. In the front three, Robert Lewandowski already has a certain slot, therefore Moukoko has several challenges in securing a starting position.
