Iran Threatens To Strike The Gulf After Saudi Arabia Striking Iranian Missiles

An Israeli government source said that Netanyahu held a war cabinet meeting for the second time in less than 24 hours to discuss how to respond to the attack launched by Iran on Israel with drones and missiles. The Iranian readout of the call published on Ebrahim Raisi’s website said:
“We now firmly declare that the slightest measure against Iran’s interests will certainly be met with a massive, widespread and painful response against all its perpetrators.” In a Qatari statement published by Qatar News Agency (QNA), Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad stressed “the necessity of reducing all forms of escalation and avoiding the expansion of the conflict in the region.” The Qatari agency added, “During the call, the two sides stressed the necessity of a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and the occupied Palestinian territories in order to achieve a permanent and final solution to the Palestinian issue in order to achieve lasting and comprehensive peace in the region.”
Finally, the US Central Military Command (Centcom) announced yesterday, Sunday, that the United States, with the support of European destroyers, was able to destroy “more than 80” drones and at least 6 ballistic missiles designated to strike Israel from Iran and Yemen during the Iranian attack.
According to an American military official, about 100 medium-range ballistic missiles, more than 30 cruise missiles, and at least 150 attack drones were launched from Iran, targeting Israel. A Patriot missile battery shot down a cruise missile not far from the Iraqi city of Erbil in Iraqi Kurdistan.
