Umahi Encourages Tinubu To Include Wike In The Next Administration.

The governor of Ebonyi State, Dave Umahi, has urged the president-elect, Bola Tinubu, to include Nyesom Wike, the governor of Rivers State, in his administration.

This was expressed by Umahi on Monday during the commissioning of the renovated Community Secondary school in the Rivers State local government area of Obio-Akpor.

Wike has “a lot to give for the unification of the nation,” according to the governor of Ebonyi State, and this would be very advantageous for the Tinubu-led Federal Government.

“As soon as you go beyond the obvious to the appearance of Bola Tinubu as the president-elect of Nigeria and Kashim Shettima as the president-elect, which I consider as an act of God, we all need to comprehend the mind of God.

“But, I must applaud Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike for the significant contribution he made to Tinubu’s victory in the 2023 presidential election as the All Progressives Congress candidate (APC).

And since Wike has a much to give the nation, Tinubu must incorporate him into his administration following his inauguration. And it’s not just parties, either. He is really valuable.

“It concerns both the country as a whole and how to advance this nation. It concerns how to bring our people together. Just a little request: Welcome Governor Wike to the federal government.

After a disagreement with Atiku Abubakar, Wike, a member of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), is said to have worked for Tinubu during the presidential race.

Before reportedly joining forces with Tinubu, the governor of Rivers State met with other APC governors in 2022. These include Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the governor of Lagos State, Rotimi Akeredolu, the chairman of the Southern Governors Forum, and former Ekiti State governor Kayode Fayemi.
