The FUBK Female Hostel Is Completely Destroyed By Fire.

The female dorm at the Federal University, Birnin Kebbi’s (FUBK) interim location has been completely destroyed by fire.

Some of the students were attending lectures when the event occurred, according to an eyewitness who talked to The Guardian. Although they barely avoided the fire, they lost their belongings in the incident.

Before it was put out, the fire, which was started by nearby bush fires at 11:55 in the morning, had destroyed documents, books, and property.

Journalists were present for morning lessons when the event occurred, according to one of the afflicted kids. When she arrived to the site, she discovered that her houses had already been destroyed. “We heard yells of fire, fire,” she added.

She bemoaned the fact that many of their possessions and educational materials had been destroyed by the fire before firemen could put it out.

Another witness said that if not for the firefighters’ efforts, the fire would have spread to neighboring locations.

The FUBK public relations officer, Malam Jamilu Magaji, confirmed the event to media and said: “We thank God no lives were lost. We were able to remove some of the students’ belongings as just a portion of the dormitory was impacted.

He urged the afflicted kids to maintain their composure since the school administration is making every effort to lessen the impact of their loss.
