Soyinka Dissociates Herself From False Social Media Statements

Certain statements that were being ascribed to Nobel laureate Prof. Wole Soyinka on social media have been disputed as false.

Jahman Anikulapo, his spokesperson, said in a statement that “Prof. Soyinka never issued such at any time or on any occasion. It is only the creation of purveyors of misleading information who use disinformation to their advantage in order to further their political agendas.

“The message or any other political communication that addresses or targets any political party or political player is urged to be ignored by the media and the general public.”

“Quote me wherever, Nigerians don’t need somebody like Atiku and Obasanjo to lead them again,” the quotations said. The two have already been tasted: Obasanjo is a liar and Atiku is crooked. They are both avaricious and self-centered.

“I must be a factor in anyone’s effort to disgrace Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, whether they are a cabal or a Viju milk campaigner. A typical PDP guy is furious with Asiwaju because he forced them to submit.

Anybody who believes that Asiwaju’s downfall is his goal will have a boomerang effect in addition to failing miserably. He controls Lagos! You are heard! Find out how your grandparents and dad came to own the “family land” by asking them. Is it God’s will that it be given to them?
