Nscdc Provides Bodies To The Families Of Fallen Servicemen.

The remaining four bodies of its employees slain by bandits were turned over to their families by the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Kaduna State Command on Saturday for burial.

According to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), on Monday, bandits ambushed and murdered seven members of the military and five other people in Kuriga village in the state’s Birnin Gawri Local Government Area.

The late Insp. Fidelis Yusuf’s corpse was earlier turned over by the NSCDC for final interment on Thursday, while ASC1 Shamsudeen Labaran was buried on January 10 at the Anguwan Dosa cemetery in accordance with Islamic customs.

However, ASC ll Augustine Simon’s remains were transported to Benue on Friday for burial.

The four were ASC II Peter Ayuba, CA II Yashim ELisha, Inspector Michael Musa, and Sgt. Peter Kurah. Their bodies were sent to their families for burial.

While paying his last respects to the staff, NSCDC Commandant General (CG) Dr. Audi Abubakar said that the occurrence had saddened the whole nation.

Abubakar said that President Muhammadu Buhari, the whole NSCDC workforce, and Nigerians as a whole were deeply pained by the tragedy in his capacity as NSCDC Commandant Kaduna, Mr. Idris Adah.

We don’t have the right to question God since it has occurred and death is unavoidable; when our day comes, we will all pass away, he remarked.

He urged the staff to see their coworkers’ deaths as a lesson that one day they would too be put to rest.

He said that the families of the slain corps members will get compensation, but he also said that no amount of money could compare to the lives of the fallen members of the corps.

“Despite this, the families of these our murdered comrades will get the proper care.

Everyone should try to be praying for the remainder of their souls, he added. “We simply have to take hearts, we don’t have control over such sorts of circumstance,” he said.

The CG prayed to God for the peace of the murdered officers’ souls as he consoled the families of the fallen officers.
