NDIC Cautions Bank Clients About The Increasingly Inventive Fraudsters.
|The Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC) has issued a warning to the general public and bank clients not to share their account information online because fraudsters are becoming more inventive.
On Friday, the NDIC published four suggestions for bank clients to protect their accounts on its official website.
Customers should make sure their phones are password-protected, according to the corporation, and they should keep their bank mobile application passwords to themselves.
The NDIC also advised bank clients to make sure their token was protected and out of the hands of unauthorized individuals.
The Company also advised clients to take precautions to prevent the exposure of their Card Verification Value (CVV) and debit card details.
