NALDA supplies agriculture inputs and an Earth dam to farmers in Bauchi.

To increase the nation’s food security, the National Agricultural Land Development Authority (NALDA) has announced plans to provide farmers in Bauchi State’s Azare Local Government Area Earth Dams, land clearance, and agriculture inputs.

When the Earth Dam is finished in 14 days, it will provide water for over 10,000 animals and irrigation to more than three villages in the region. Additionally, solar-powered pumping equipment will be installed to supply water to nearby fields.

In his interactions with local farmers, NALDA Paul Ikonne, the executive secretary, said that the project’s goal was to guarantee the supply of water for irrigation and animal husbandry in order to reduce conflicts between farmers and herders across the nation.
