Makinde Expresses Sympathy To Oyo Speaker On The Loss Of His Mother.

In response to the passing of his mother, Mrs. Justina Ogundoyin, Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde sent his condolences to Mr. Adebo Ogundoyin, Speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly.

The Special Assistant to the Governor on Print Media, Mr. Moses Alao, said this in a statement on Monday in Ibadan.

Makinde characterized Mrs. Ogundoyin’s death as painful and frightening.

Together with the general populace of Ibarapa country, he expressed his condolences to the whole Adeseun Ogundoyin Dynasty of Eruwa.

Makinde went on to call the dead, who served as the Iyaloja-General of Ibarapa territory, a notable female hero.

“Yet, the speaker’s mother’s passing would leave a big void in Ibarapa area and Oyo state.

It is satisfying that she was there to see his son re-elected to the house of assembly and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) win the gubernatorial race with a resounding victory.

“I ask God to give Mrs. Ogundoyin’s soul rest. She was a heroine for everything she stood up for and accomplished as a wife, mother, and community leader.

We can only express thankfulness to God, who both provides and takes life, despite the shock and agony of this death.

In addition to praying to God for strength and good courage for the whole Ogundoyin family to endure this loss, Makinde stated, “I advise the speaker and his siblings to be strong and of good courage.”
