The governor said that his government was committed to industrializing the state in order to provide young people work possibilities. The governor promised to respond to their requests as soon as possible. The governor’s campaign train traveled to Surulere and Ogo-Oluwa local councils, where Makinde made campaign promises to prioritize traditional rulers’ well-being and to reopen the Oko Fruit Processing Factory in order to provide more employment for the thronging youngsters of the axis.
