Change The Narrative; Politics Isn’t Only For Crooks, Says Femi Oladehin
Femi Oladehin, a candidate for the House of Representatives in the general elections of 2023, has urged well-intentioned Nigerians to embrace and participate in politics, hammering home the point that the field shouldn’t be left in the hands of dishonest or corrupt People.
According to Oladehin, who is running for office as the African Democratic Congress’s (ADC) candidate to represent the residents of Eti Osa Federal Constituency, the only way to have credible politicians and leaders was for credible Nigerians to take part in the electoral process.
He emphasized the need for a shift in the myth that only morally depraved Nigerians should be involved in politics.
In a recent media interview, the seasoned investment banker discussed his plans for the residents of the Eti Osa constituency and said that he is running to provide “purposeful representation.”
He asserts that Eti Osa deserves a candidate who would put the interests of the constituency first and draw more federal attention after years of broken promises.
Oladehin stated his worries about the current generation of leaders in the nation while discussing his choice to enter politics, stating, “The more candidates who can affect the lives of the people remain away from politics, the worse it gets with our present crop of politicians. I entered the race because I don’t want to do nothing and watch while stupid people wreck the nation.
