Adeleke: “Buhari’s Judgment On The Election Law Cleared The Route For My Win.”

On Friday, Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke paid a visit to the Presidential Villa in Abuja and praised President Muhammadu Buhari for his “brave” decision to approve the electoral legislation, which creates a fair playing field for all candidates in elections.

The delighted Governor told reporters following his meeting with Buhari that the new legislation also offers the people’s choice of candidates at the elections a voice without any outside interference.

Senator Adeleke, who was elected on the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) platform, expressed his gratitude to the President for creating a fair playing field in the election that took place in July of last year during his visit to the White House after winning the race.

“I had eagerly awaited this meeting and was strongly hoping it would take place. I’m a beneficiary of the new electoral law you passed, which cleared the path for free and fair elections by outlawing ballot box snatching and stuffing, Adeleke said the President, calling their meeting a “dream come true” and shaking hands.

“I am extremely proud of you. The security agencies took your advice to be fair and tough to heart. Whatever your stance on politics, you are a good parent.

The Governor said that free and fair elections will be one of President Buhari’s greatest legacies to the nation, as the development was already receiving praise both domestically and internationally.

He listed the state’s goals as investment drive, agricultural growth, and educational advancement.

While the incoming governor was at State House as a “thank you” visit, Buhari vowed to take into account his requests for help.

Adeleke submitted a number of proposals, such as assistance with infrastructure development, tax credits, additional federal facilities in Osun State, and help for a projected new economic metropolis and free trade zone.
