A Group Requests That The Dss Look Into An Alleged Plot To Harm Igbos In Lagos.

The Department of State Services and other security agencies have been tasked by the Human Rights Writers Association of Nigeria (HURIWA) to look into an alleged conspiracy to commit mayhem on Igbo residents in Lagos if the All Progressives Congress candidate loses the election on February 25.


Its National Coordinator, Comrade Emmanuel Onwubiko, said in a statement that Oodua People’s Congress (OPC) agents had been told to stockpile firearms and other hazardous weapons in advance of this month’s presidential election.


According to reports, the assaults are being organized in locales including Oshodi – Isolo (Mafoluku area to Oke Afa), Ijora Badia (Amukoko, Alaba Suru, Orile and surroundings, Ikate, Itire, Ijesha, Cele, Okota, Ajegunle, Olodi Apapa, Coconut, Ojokoro – Ijaye, Agbara, Ojo and Okoko,


Security organizations like the Department of State Services and other intelligence organizations need to act fast to look into the alleged planned assault on Igbos in Lagos if the APC flag bearer is unsuccessful, according to Onwubiko. Security services need to look into this right now in order to prevent it from reigniting a tribal conflict.
