4 Suspects In Election Fraud Are Turned Over By The Police To Inec.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has reportedly received four alleged electoral offenders, according to the Police command in Lagos State.

SP. Benjamin Hundeyin, the police public relations officer in Lagos, verified this to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Friday.

Six of the 23 people detained during the Lagos State Presidential and Legislative elections, according to Hundeyin, were reportedly held responsible for electoral and criminal crimes.

He said that on Friday morning, two men and two women were turned over to INEC for suspected PVC theft and illegal possession of sensitive election materials.

The police will reportedly pursue charges against two more individuals who were also taken into custody that day for allegedly unlawfully possessing guns.

Police should pursue charges against Joseph Agada and Animashaun Kabiru, according to Hundeyin.

He said that on Friday, charges were filed against every suspect.
