Transfer of Globeleq’s shares to Clean Energy Holdings has completed.

Africa’s largest independent power company, Globeleq, has announced that its ownership interest in Globeleq Power Solutions Nigeria (GPSN) has been transferred to Clean Energy Holdings Limited following a review of its strategy and portfolio.

The transfer relates to a collection of assets that primarily serve industrial and commercial clients in southwest Nigeria.

The transfer was successfully completed with little impact on the GPSN business and its clients thanks to the close collaboration between Globeleq and CEHL.

The top developer, owner, and operator of electricity generation in Africa is Globeleq.

With more than 2,000 MW of power projects in development, including additional opportunities in Nigeria, its skilled team of experts has built a diverse portfolio of independent power plants since 2002, generating more than 1,500 MW in 14 locations across six countries.
