Tinubu’s Desire To Run For President Has Grown.

Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential candidate, has received a strong endorsement from Niger State voters to compete for the nation’s highest office in the next general elections, which has improved his prospects of winning the presidency in 2023.

As early as 8 am, the throng flocked to the Trade Fair Complex, the location of the APC presidential and governorship campaign’s flag-off event in Minna, to anticipate the presidential candidate’s arrival.

Due of this, a main route leading to the venue, the Minna-Suleja road, became severely congested with traffic.

Many people were seen walking from the Citygate roundabout to the event, which was surrounded by a sizable throng of supporters and had posters from different organizations backing Tinubu, Shettimma, and the state’s APC gubernatorial candidate, Hon. Umar Bago, on display.

The presidential contender was welcomed with applause and cries of “We want Tinubu, we want you” as he arrived at the location of the campaign gathering.

Along with other state governors and federal legislators, Tinubu was joined by his running partner, Senator Ibrahim Kashim Shettima, Senate President Ahmed Lawal, Governor Abubakar Sani Bello of Niger State, APC candidate for governor of Niger State Umar Bago, and former APC Chairman Adams Oshomole.

The presidential candidate and his crew traveled to the Eastern Bypass shortly after the flag-off to inaugurate the Tinubu/Shetima campaign headquarters of the North Central Zone in Minna.

Alh. Mohammed Idris Malagi, editor of the Blueprint weekly and head of strategic communications for the Asiwaju Bola Tinubu Presidential Campaign Council, provided space for the APC Presidential campaign headquarters (PCC).

Malagi also provided the party with several functional automobiles and tricycles for use in its campaigns around the state.
