Bola Tinubu, the presidential candidate for the All Progressives Congress in the general elections of 2023, has admitted that he no longer reads social media and gets upset whenever he logs on.

Ademola Oshodi, the former governor of Lagos state, who is one of his friends, made a popular video explaining why he has chosen to avoid social media.

He saw that he often receives abuse on social media, which gets him upset and causes his blood pressure to rise.

I no longer read social media, Tinubu said. They treat me like absolute garbage. I am agitated and have elevated blood pressure if I read it. My kids or any of my employees may tell me what this person said today if I want to know. If I’m sleepy, I’ll tell you to forget it.
