Praise God in all circumstances, Adeboye exhorts Nigerians

Pastor Enoch Adeboye, General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, has urged Nigerians to keep praising God no matter what circumstances they are in.

Adeboye issued the warning on Saturday in Ilorin, Kwara State, during a sermon at the House of Prayer Assembly’s 12-hour marathon of praise, worship, and thanksgiving known as “YADAH 2022.”

The GO said that people would continue to experience various situations in life while speaking on the theme of “Let all that I am praise the Lord,” and that regardless of the circumstance, constant praise-worship and thanksgiving to God would improve the circumstance.

Adeboye, whose message was delivered by Pastor Nathaniel Adejumo, Regional Overseer of the RCCG, said that although the country’s current state is harsh and disagreeable to the people, the situation can be changed if they participate in praise-worship and thanksgiving.

People need to understand how important it is to give thanks to God in any situation, he added. We ought to give thanks to the Lord regardless of our financial situation, level of happiness, level of health, level of comfort, or level of discomfort in the economy. Although the opposition may be fierce, God never disappoints and has never lost a war. He prevails despite all difficulties.

According to the GO, who quoted Job 2:1 in the Holy Book, Job did not sin other than acting righteously. God allowed the devil to test Job, but in the end, Job triumphed and received double the amount of his possessions back. The “road of life may not be easy, but we should keep praising God,” he said.

Keep praising the Lord and allowing the devil to run wild; in the end, you will put your adversaries to shame. Because God has never failed, everything that has been lost will be found and everything will turn out for the better. God will bring about a change. He exhorted us to offer sacrifices of thanksgiving to the Lord.
