Police State That There Was No Terrorist Attack In Kano

On Wednesday, November 2, 2022, the Kano State Police Command refuted as false the rumors that a terrorist assault had taken place in a village in Kano.

However, SP Abdullahi Haruna, the public relations officer for the Kano Police, swore in a statement that there had been no terror incident.

Haruna blamed the spiteful and inaccurate nature of the narrative to fifth columnists who intended to undermine the state’s existing condition of peace and stability.

Kano people were urged by SP Haruna to do their regular, lawful business without fear, noting that the command had previously planned out methods to provide sufficient security in the state.

He said that the police and other affiliated organizations are prepared for action to thwart any effort by terrorists to topple the government.
