On the candidate the pastoral organization will back in the next election, there have been rumors.

However, the organisation will formally endorsing Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress.

The support came as a result of lengthy negotiations recently ended between the Fulani group and the APC presidential candidate.

Remember that before the 2023 general election, Baba Othman Ngezama, the president of the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN), will announce the candidate to endorse.

Alhaji Bello Bodejo, President of the Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore, verified the most recent event and said that Tinubu would get the Association’s official endorsement at its next gathering on Friday in Lafia.

“Our people, the Fulani Pastoralists, will be gathering in big numbers on Friday in Lafia. We will make Tinubu’s official selection as our presidential candidate known at that gathering. If you recall, we promised a few weeks ago that we would name our pick for president in the next elections, and on Friday, we plan to do just that.

“We chose Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the APC presidential candidate after holding extensive consultations with our people and other stakeholders. According to reports, Bodejo said that an official declaration to that effect will be made on Friday in Lafia.
