New Fitness Guidelines For Corp Members Are Introduced By NYSC
According to a recent announcement by the National Youth Service Corps, prospective corps members would now need to bring fitness certifications from accredited public health institutions to orientation camps all around the nation.
Eddy Megwa, Director of Press and Public Relations for the NYSC, stated in a statement that the new policy would start with the 2022 Batch “C” Orientation Course and that the certificate of fitness will henceforth be required for registration at camps.
The fitness exam, according to the director, will assist the plan determine the health state of corpers and catch those who misrepresent their medical concerns.
