Jigawa ladies are warned by Badaru not to engage in PVC fraud.

Jigawa’s governor, Muhammad Badaru, has cautioned women in the state to stay away from the sale of fraudulent Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs).

At the launch of the APC 2023 gubernatorial campaign on Friday in Jahun, the state’s administrative center for the Jahun Local Government Area, Badaru issued the warning.

He encouraged the ladies to ignore anybody who asked them for their PVCs in exchange for signing them up for empowerment programs.

“We discovered that some individuals are tricking women into giving up their PVCs by promising to remove certain numbers off of the PVCs in order to register them for empowerment programs.

Which empowerment initiatives are they referring to? Don’t take their word for it, and don’t give them your PVCs. What can they say about SURE-P if they are discussing empowerment?

If you vote for the APC again, it will continue to provide you with adequate empowerment, he added.

The governor said the APC was dedicated to helping to ensure that elections were free, credible, and fair. He thanked party members and supporters for their support and devotion.

Alhaji Umar Namadi, the APC’s candidate for governor, pledged to expand on Badaru’s accomplishments, notably in the areas of agriculture, health, education, and water supply.

Since 2015, according to Namadi, the APC has mostly kept the promises it made to the state’s citizens throughout their election campaigns.

In the general elections of 2023, he encouraged the populace to support the party at all levels.
