Dino Melaye: “You Can’t Use APC’s Clock To Tell PDP’s Time.”

According to Senator Dino Melaye, spokesman for the PDP Presidential Campaign Council, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has had its presidential candidate and national chairman from the same area before.

Melaye, who stated that the All Progressives Congress, APC, should not be the standard for assessing the PDP, said this while speaking on Channels Television’s “Politics Today”

“This is not the first time it has happened. In addition to Vincent Ogbulafo serving as National Chairman and Chief Olusegun Obasanjo President, we also have Dr. Okwesilieze Nwodo running for president.

All of them were from the South. As a result, you cannot use the APC’s clock to determine the PDP’s time.

“Nobody can lecture us about maintaining the unity of our party; we are quite aware of that. Only after you are in a position of authority can you start to assume positions. In other words, it is impossible to share authority when you are not. To begin sharing power while you are not in it would be foolish.

“Atiku is a really kind guy in real life. No region of our nation will be overlooked when he appears. Only Atiku has the ability to bring this nation together and has the ability to address the issue of national security.
