Barcelona athletes are about to start a long World Cup vacation.

Barcelona’s last practice in November will take place today, followed by an extended rest until the 2022 World Cup.

According to Diario AS, Barcelona will have a full 25 days for individuals to whom the vacation applies, however there won’t be many since many people will be enjoying the World Cup.

It is anticipated that only Inaki Pena, Hector Bellerin, and Ansu Fati would have a month off. While Pablo Torre will play for Barcelona Atletic, injured players Franck Kessie and Sergi Roberto will need to continue their recuperation at the practice facility.

The omission of Marcos Alonso or Alejandro Balde from that official list suggests that both players, unlike Fati, have a chance to go to the World Cup with Spain.

The team’s remaining members will be in Qatar. Thirteen days before the start of the La Liga season, on December 18, the World Cup comes to an end. On December 31st, Barcelona will host Espanyol in a matchup at Camp Nou.
