At A Party In Oyo, A Woman Was Seen Flashing New Naira Notes.

Large wads of the new naira notes were allegedly spotted being sold by an unnamed money hawker at a party location for N200 for N1,000.

Despite complaints that several bank branches had already exhausted the restricted number of the freshly redesigned naira notes that their head offices had sent them with as early as Thursday midday, this is true.

As bank workers combined some of the new notes with the old ones for over-the-counter withdrawals, it was previously reported that there was a limited quantity of the redesigned notes. Meanwhile, automated teller machines continued to disburse the old bank notes.

However, a lady was reportedly witnessed selling the freshly redesigned wads of N200 bank notes unrestricted at a party on Saturday in Ibadan, Oyo State, according to Tribune.
