22 online scammers imprisoned in Enugu
Twenty-two (22) internet fraudsters have been found guilty and sentenced by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, Enugu Zonal Command.
Justice Fatun Riman of the Federal High Court in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State, imprisoned them.
These individuals were found guilty: Sunday Uchenna Jude, Paschal Aniagor Tobechukwu, Prosper Nnachetam, David Ahams Chinyereugo, Nwaike Emmanuel Onyedikachi, Ezugwu Chidera Kennedy, Ezurike Chibueze Okorie, Ikechukwu Dirichukwu, Ahamefula Wisdom Metuobi, Nwaike John Kennedy, Ike Chikezie Frank,
The others are: Dike Obinna Collins Ebuka Ilouno, Ngadi Chima, Onuigbo Kingsley Chigozie, Henry Chukwualuka, Chukwuemeka Godwin Ogbubor, Nwaike John Franklin, and Emmanuel Chinemerem Marvelous.
They pleaded guilty to a single count distinct offense that had to do with collecting money under false pretenses, and they were found guilty on Monday, October 24, and Tuesday, October 25, 2022.
