His mother, probably scared or perplexed, also abandoned him together with his father, Wale Apanishile when he was a few year old and has never looked back.
The good news however is that his resilient father is making a headway, having cried bent Nigerians for help years back through this medium.
According to Apanishile Senior, well-meaning Nigerians responded amazingly and therefore the boy was ready to undergo several reconstruction surgeries here in Nigeria and India, as a results of which a penis is now forming.
“We had a surgery in LUTH here and were later mentioned India, where we’ve had two more surgeries; the last one was in February this year (2021). That was our second trip to India. They passed a hose into him through which they’re building the penis. To the glory of God, it’s forming well and that they even told me that when completed, it’ll function properly, like all other male organ.
“The problem now’s that the Indian doctors told us he must avoid anything rigorous due to the method he’s undergoing, including schooling that might weigh him down or task him physically. this is often why I even have come to fellow Nigerians again for help. he’s already eight years and ripe for college but I cannot afford to buy him through private school; and that i don’t want to endanger his treatment by putting him during a public school. i would like fellow Nigerians to assist sponsor his education. they will even adopt him for schooling, if they want .”
