Atsu, A Former Chelsea Player, Is Trapped Under Debris In Turkey.

As an earthquake strikes Turkey and Syria, former Chelsea winger Christian Atsu is allegedly “stuck beneath debris.”

After leaving Saudi Arabia’s Al-Raed in 2022, Atsu is now a player for the Turkish club team Hatayspor.

His club team is presently headquartered in Kahramanmara, one of the regions that was most severely affected by the terrible earthquake.

The tragic occurrence is said to have claimed well over 1000 lives in both Turkey and Syria, and it is anticipated that the death toll will grow to 10,000 when two earthquakes strike both nations.

The first earthquake, which had a 7.8 magnitude, and the second, which had a 7.5 magnitude, both occurred early on Monday.

Along with Atsu, Taner Savut, the sports director for Hatayspor, is reportedly trapped under the debris.
