Victor Osimhen Of Napoli Is A Target For Liverpool.

According to rumors, Liverpool has entered the market for Napoli attacker Victor Osimhen. For the Serie A leaders so far this season, the 24-year-old has been in scorching form up front, with 23 goals in 24 games across all competitions.

Since joining Napoli in 2020, Osimhen has scored 46 goals in 84 games. His current play is said to have drawn the attention of many elite European teams in time for the summer transfer window.

Osimhen is reportedly a target for Manchester United, who are still looking for a long-term successor for Cristiano Ronaldo.

Big-spenders Chelsea is said to be interested in the Nigerian international and willing to spend “whatever it takes” to get him next summer.

Osimhen has also been linked to teams like Arsenal, Newcastle United, Paris Saint-Germain, and Real Madrid, but according to Fichajes, Liverpool are the most recent team to enter the competition for his services.

Darwin Nunez, a striker who joined Liverpool from Benfica last summer in a deal that might reach a club record £85 million, was purchased with big-budget money by Jurgen Klopp’s team.

Then, in the January transfer window, Liverpool added to their offensive strength with the £37 million acquisition of Cody Gakpo from PSV Eindhoven.
