Rivals In The Premier League Are Prepared To Compete For David Raya.
- According to rumors, three Premier League teams are planning a summer offer for David Raya, a Spanish international.
After Raya turned down two contract offers, Brentford manager Thomas Frank said he is getting more worried about Raya’s long-term future with the team.
Frank said that by refusing to extend his contract through 2024, he may be planning to leave the club this coming summer.
To replace French veteran Hugo Lloris, who will be 37 in 2023, Tottenham are considered the favorites to sign the 27-year-old.
However, despite Raya’s assurance that his lack of commitment stems from a desire to concentrate on the remainder of the season, rumors have persisted.
Spurs are not the only English team keeping an eye on Raya, according to sources from Football London; Chelsea and Manchester United are also keeping an eye on the issue.
The Catalan goalkeeper could replace Kepa Arrizabalaga or David de Gea, two goalies he has previously displaced at the international level, if he were to transfer to Stamford Bridge or Old Trafford.
