Report On Sofyan Amrabat’s Offer To Play For Barcelona For Nothing

Sofyan Amrabat reportedly volunteered to play for Barcelona for free in the January transfer window because he was so eager to join the club.

On the day of the transfer deadline, Barcelona made a last-minute attempt to sign Amrabat, but his club, Fiorentina, turned them down.

According to journalist Achraf Ben Ayad, Amrabat did make a sincere effort to facilitate the move. In order to be allowed to depart on loan, the 26-year-old “gave Fiorentina the money he was supposed to get from Barça.”

Additionally, Barcelona wasn’t the only team attempting to sign Amrabat. Although Chelsea and Manchester United made proposals to the player’s agency, the midfielder “just wanted Barcelona.”

Since then, Amrabat has made a comeback with Fiorentina and has expressed regret to his teammates for attempting to force a trade.

However, it is said that the midfielder is still eager to go to Camp Nou and is presently a target for Barca ahead of the summer transfer window.
