Phil Foden Of Man City Will Miss The Game Against Liverpool After Appendix Surgery.

After undergoing surgery to remove his appendix, Phil Foden of Manchester City will miss Saturday’s home Premier League game against Liverpool.

He was ruled out of England’s 2-0 victory against Ukraine on Sunday in the Euro 2024 qualifying round.

The 22-year-old midfielder will need time to heal after having surgery in London for acute appendicitis.

Phil will now go back to Manchester to start his recovery, according to City.

He won’t be ready for this weekend’s Premier League match against Liverpool at home, and the length of his absence is still unknown.
